Vice President of Engineering
As VP of Engineering, Mr. Hayes is responsible for organizing and assigning the work flow for the engineering department. He assures that our design and engineering efforts are executed in a timely fashion and that our designs exemplify the quality that we strive for at CW Electric. Mr. Hayes also heads CW Electric’s industrial automation efforts.
Mr. Hayes obtained a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY in December of 1988. He began his career in the steel industry. Mr. Hayes worked as a Project Engineer, Maintenance Engineer and Maintenance Superintendent in the steel industry. Following his time in the steel industry, Mr. Hayes became one of two co-owners in an engineering company, Hayes Automation, Inc. Hayes Automation provided expert experience in engineering and design build aspects on projects for which the company partnered with CW Electric, Inc. In 2007, Hayes Automation, Inc. was purchased by CW Electric, Inc., after which Mr. Hayes assumed the role of Vice President of Engineering for CW Electric, Inc.
